British Food Fortnight is a national annual celebration of British Food and Drink taking place from 17th September – 2nd October. This year it coincides with the Olympic Games and summer harvest festivities and provides an opportunity for community organisations, producers and retailers to share their passion for local food and drink by hosting events and promoting special offers.
Bath and North East Somerset Council is supporting British Food Fortnight by developing a local food directory and co-ordinating a programme of events, activities and promotions that celebrate local food and drink, champion healthy eating and/or support people to develop skills in cooking and growing.
If you would like to host an event, harvest celebration, promotion or offer that takes place in Bath and North East Somerset between 17th September – 2nd October then we would like to hear from you!
