The One Show's Mike Dilger, Helps Showcase Trust's Work

The One Show's Mike Dilger, Forest of Avon Trust patron, recently helped the local tree charity film three videos of its work. These include interviews with people involved in local tree-action; the benefits of Forest School training and an overview of the Trust's work.

Online Builders' Surplus Recycling and Exchange

Recipro is an online exchange for construction surplus and re-usable materials. Volunteers urgently wanted for Chew Valley Give and Take day Saturday 26 January 2013

The Council’s waste campaigns team urgently require volunteers this weekend, Saturday 26 January 2013 from 9am-2pm to help out at our next Give and Take day.  This event is taking place at Chew Valley Secondary School, Chew Lane, Chew Magna BS40 8QB. 


All volunteers will have first pick of donated items that come in on the day!

Gallery gets the green light for energy-saving bulbs and volunteer scheme

Grow Out Own Christmas 2013

Dry Arch Growers are planning on growing Christmas dinner for 2013.


If we have enough interested we're planning on raising turkeys and pigs, growing the usual veg and making some apple juice/cider to wash it down.
