TAP WATER AWARDS - Grants up to £3,000 to enable schools, universities and colleges across the UK provide access to mains drinking water on campus while reducing the use of plastic bottled waters (applications may be made at any time).
Not-for-profit organisationTapwater.org provides Tap Water Awards to achieve a reduction in the amount of plastic bottles and containers sent to landfill. It achieves its aims by helping educational establishments such as schools, colleges and universities to reduce their dependency on bottled water by installing mains fed water machines and providing reusable stainless steel bottles.
Grants of between £300 and £3,000 are available to fund all or part of project costs. Match funding is welcomed but not essential.

PLEASE NOTE: activities or services that schools have a statutory responsibility to provide cannot be covered by the Tap Water grants scheme.
