The Estates & Facilities team is seeking a “Sustainable Travel Planner” to deliver a variety of transportation related projects for the Trust. With around 5,000 employees and occupying a congested city centre location, improvements in the transport options for visitors and staff is critical to reduce pressure on the local infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a lead role in developing and implementing the Trust Non-Patient Travel Plan, making a real difference to the experience of the Trust’s patients, visitors and staff.
Priorities of the role will be to, support the delivery of the Estates Sustainability Strategy, promote sustainable travel, manage relationships internal and external to the Trust and to reduce transport related procurement costs.
The role represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking either to build a career in sustainable travel, or to prove their capabilities in project management.
