Prevent illness and premature deaths by tackling cold homes says NICE

Taken from: cse.org 8/3/16

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published a set of six new quality standards for the NHS and others to tackle the problem of cold homes.

These new standards are said to establish clear actions for the health service to ensure vulnerable people get the help they need to keep safely warm at home. This includes the recommendation that vulnerable people should not be discharged from health or social care settings into cold homes.
