The Bath & North East Somerset Energy at Home scheme helps residents improve their homes energy performance by offering free expert advice, access to grants and support, and help to make energy saving home improvements.

We have put together a short film to help residents understand the services available through the scheme, and to show examples of some successful installations. Check out the film on the homepage of the Energy at Home website: www.energyathome.org.uk

There are grants currently available through the Energy at home scheme including the Home Energy Top Up Grant, which is available to home owners, tenants and landlords for a limited time up to the following limits:

  • Up to £6,000 for solid wall insulation (internal or external)
  • Up to £2,000 for new glazing or external doors
  • Up to £1,500 for off-gas heating improvements
  • Up to £500 for a new gas boiler, cavity wall or loft insulation
  • Up to £1,000 for other measures

There is also extra support available if you meet the eligibility criteria to help cover the costs of heating and insulation improvements. This includes a voucher scheme for gas connection of up to £2,700 to help you connect to the gas grid (if feasible).
