Event Description

Green Drinker Julie Doherty is going to talk about how Avon Wildlife Trust is stepping up their campaigning to tackle major issues that affect us all and showing us how we can help them make a difference.

"Our wildlife is in trouble, with 15% of UK species studied in the recent State of Nature report at risk of extinction and 56% UK species now in decline. People are suffering from declining mental health as a result of stress related to our fast-paced, modern life that is cut off from nature. "

19:30 - start
20:00 - 15-20 min talk
20:20 - brief Q&A
20:45 on, the usual, unstructured, Green Drinks

Don't forget that The Rising Sun Inn, Bath serves a range of freshly ground coffee, lots of teas, and soft drink options as well as alcohol.

For food, Green Drinkers get a special deal of £5 for a bowl of pasta (vegan available) as well as all their usual dishes. They stop serving at 21:00.
